Common pelvic pain symptoms include:

  • Pain when sitting down

  • Pain with sexual intercourse

  • Pain with pelvic exams

A note on trauma:  Many women who have experienced trauma, or an uncomfortable physical, sexual and/or emotional experience, may have any of these symptoms.  Symptoms do not always arise immediately after the trauma but may arise even years later.  Sometimes a woman can experience symptoms, tehn do well and then symptoms recur.  Daphna has experice in treating and teaching about trauma care.
